This is a vague idea of my main character. She is smartly dressed and wears a lot of tight red and black clothes. We wanted her to look very sophisticated and smart, but also to show she is a femme fatal character. Her props will consist of:
-Red Lipstick
- A Cigarette
- Black pencil skirt
- Red patent shoes
- Red/white Blouse
- Red Nail Varnish
She 28 years old and was brought up and born in Turkey. She's very seductive and seems to get a lot more when she is acting up and always gets what she wants. In our film she is a good femme fatal character but has characteristic’s of evil. We base this character on Helen Bohem Carter in the film Fight Club. She is very disorientated and spooky and is always seen smoking which could be a generic feautre. She is also similar to this character as she is the only major female role, and we will be using this in our thriller to show her significance and importance. We are using this as an intertextual reference also to the femme fatal characters form Jackie Brown, and Kill Bill. Although she is similar and based on these characters, she's very stern. Her comparison to Jackie Brown is her power, her ability to be cunning and deviant at the same time, and the audience is on her side.

Two Hench Men:

These men are both nameless and are hired by Monika Querio. They have a hidden identity, and show no emotions. They both wear prim suits with ties, and one is black British and the other white British. These men are an intertextual reference to ‘Pulp Fiction’, the roles played by John Travolta and Samuel Jackson. These men are generic signifiers of Thriller movies and can also be seen in ‘Seven’ with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman. There props consist of:
-Smart suits
-Guns and Bats
-Trainers/Smart Shoes
-A necklace with a cross on/ religious (ironic-but a generic signifier)
Man In Crate:

The man held hostage in the crate is also nameless, he is one of Ali's henchmen, and he was hired to kill Monika. He is quite Frale and doesn't speak much English, Mostly Turkish. He is religious and wears a cross around his neck, his appearance is very rugged and dirty with ripped clothes, and he is seen in our thriller praying. His is almost unimportant and is a drugs carrier, and Monika heirs the ‘Hench Men’ to kill him as he is not important and is useless. This is almost an intertextual reference to Melanie and 'Jackie Brown' as she is not important and is always seen in the background in things, kind of Quentin Tarentino's 'Looser' Character which our's is also based on.

You must explain shot type in your practice photographs.
Story boards???
Planning Level 2 ish D at present.
Re Research into thrillers You also need to complete an analysis on another thriller film.
Useful generic images but explanations rather simplistic and indicating basic understanding.
Expression reflects basic knowledge and understanding of media terminology.
Level 2 - D-
Note carelessness when discussing plot, "heirs him"????? and confusing when discussing Jackie Brown and Melanie, be specific which of these two characters you are referencing.
Story boards????? Please post asap as planning remains incomplete, thus Level 2 - Basic!
Overall this aspect of planning effectively references independent research, thus strong level 3.
