G321 Practice Shots

Our group decided to take some practice shots to get used to using a camera (still) and to get familiar with differernt shots we will use in our film.

-Close ups
-Extra Long shots
-Over The Shoulder:
Taken over a characters shoulder, can be taken behind or in front. Shows action behind them, if they can't see it creates tension. Also can show characters importance or from a characters point.

-Extreme/Medium Close ups:
See more detail/thoughts charaters are feeling.
Can also show a voyeristic experience.
-Medium Shot: Taken straight on, not too close or far away.
-Canted Shot: Taken slightly to a tilt or an angle creating a mysterious distorted image/world/place.
-Worms Eye Shot- Taken from below or on grounf, looking up at something emphasising it's importance- low angle shot.

G321 Main Characters: Props and Costume

Monika Quiero:

This is a vague idea of my main character. She is smartly dressed and wears a lot of tight red and black clothes. We wanted her to look very sophisticated and smart, but also to show she is a femme fatal character. Her props will consist of:

-Red Lipstick
- A Cigarette
- Black pencil skirt
- Red patent shoes
- Red/white Blouse
- Red Nail Varnish

She 28 years old and was brought up and born in Turkey. She's very seductive and seems to get a lot more when she is acting up and always gets what she wants. In our film she is a good femme fatal character but has characteristic’s of evil. We base this character on Helen Bohem Carter in the film Fight Club. She is very disorientated and spooky and is always seen smoking which could be a generic feautre. She is also similar to this character as she is the only major female role, and we will be using this in our thriller to show her significance and importance. We are using this as an intertextual reference also to the femme fatal characters form Jackie Brown, and Kill Bill. Although she is similar and based on these characters, she's very stern. Her comparison to Jackie Brown is her power, her ability to be cunning and deviant at the same time, and the audience is on her side.

Two Hench Men:

These men are both nameless and are hired by Monika Querio. They have a hidden identity, and show no emotions. They both wear prim suits with ties, and one is black British and the other white British. These men are an intertextual reference to ‘Pulp Fiction’, the roles played by John Travolta and Samuel Jackson. These men are generic signifiers of Thriller movies and can also be seen in ‘Seven’ with Brad Pitt and Morgan Freeman.
There props consist of:
-Smart suits
-Guns and Bats
-Trainers/Smart Shoes
-A necklace with a cross on/ religious (ironic-but a generic signifier)

Man In Crate:

The man held hostage in the crate is also nameless, he is one of Ali's henchmen, and he was hired to kill Monika. He is quite Frale and doesn't speak much English, Mostly Turkish. He is religious and wears a cross around his neck, his appearance is very rugged and dirty with ripped clothes, and he is seen in our thriller praying. His is almost unimportant and is a drugs carrier, and Monika heirs the ‘Hench Men’ to kill him as he is not important and is useless. This is almost an intertextual reference to Melanie and 'Jackie Brown' as she is not important and is always seen in the background in things, kind of Quentin Tarentino's 'Looser' Character which our's is also based on.

G321 Questionnaire Results

For these questions we asked we found out that the males and females prefer modern day thrillers with a lot of ambiguity for the storyline structure. This helps us think of a plot line more clearly for our thriller, as we would feature ambiguity mainly form our feedback and more of a modern day thriller instead of a classic. The females prefer to watch the films in the cinema which gives us an idea on our distribution as the males don’t mind where they watch it (home or cinema).

Males favourite aspect of thriller was action, this gives us a rough idea of a target audience for an action thriller, showing we would get more good feedback and a wider audience if we featured action. Action is often stereotyped with men, this seems true as we asked 20 males and the highest said that action was there preferred and storyline second, which we would have to concentrate very hard on if males were our preferred audience. Females on the other hand preferred violence and suspense and action the least, this gave us an idea so far that females prefer colour and more violence and suspense, as males seem an easier audience to please as they don’t mind as much with the other questions we asked.

Females preferred the time slot of 90-120 more than the males showing if our target audience was females this would be our preferred time for the thriller. Males didn’t mind as much but also females didn’t , which shows that it wouldn’t really depend on what time length we had so we will bear these in mind too have a 90-120 length film as females prefer it and males don’t mind as much.

This was quite an easy questions for the males as there weren’t specific and didn't mind what type if colour the film was, as we see that it appealed for women. The women preferred colour which shows when producing our thriller we should shoot in colour as we could target women as a wider audience, but will have to take the genre in mind and see the results form that.

This Questionnaire was handed out by us to 40 people, 10 females under 20 and 10 males under 20, 10 males over 20 and 10 males over 20. This gave us a clear idea on what men and women were interested in films, like colour, actors etc. From these results we found it easier to create a target audience for our film and we now are deciding between the results what to do. We gave these out in our common room and around the city.

G321 Location

Our idea came form Spooks tc series. Here is an episode shot in a tube station, which is desolate, claustrophobic and unglamourous. I started watching thriller tv series to get ideas about locations and found Spooks was the best.

Here I am using theese locaton images. The location is based outside Hewett grounds and seems like a pretty unglamourous site to film my Thriller. We are useing the puddle for the reflection of the man in the crate getting murdered and will use fake blood of some sort to fill the puddle. Our group is going use the storage crates as a place where a man is held hostage and we film both inside and around the site. We chose this location as it was accesable and unglamourous and, this is what gave us our story of our thriller. The site itself is very generic for thrillers and seems a ideal space for shooting.

My Advert

My advert was an idea made by using different images and layering a product on top. My aim was to make the advert for the target audience of young teenagers, who would want to buy this. My aim was to choose someone who was one British and two quite well known (Agyness Deyn). As a fan of Agyness I wanted her because i also thought she would be right for my advert. I chose tanning instead of usual cosmetics because i thought it would be the easiest advert to produce.
I used Photoshop to upload my picture and used tools such as Bluring, Dodging and, Layering. This was quite effective because I found out that I could blur the background to make it look like she was brighter and 'better' than the background, and so she seemed more in focus as she was the main focus in the advert. I used a ‘Rimmel’ bottle to advertise and cropped it to the right size (from Google) using Photoshop. Her blonde hair really stands out and makes the advert rather vibrant and positive. I found this picture on Google and choose this one as she was facing directly to the camera, and I knew this would make the advert more successful. As eye contact is very important because its shows someone has there complete full attention, to help sell the product more. I think I could improve in the font because I chose one that would look British rather then anything else. I used the yellow font, because tanning is very sunny and reminds people of holidays and i used a colour that when they looked at it, would fit into the perspective of the shot and also combine with the aim.

Her position is very confident and strong, as she is posing to the camera. The audience may want to buy this product because of Agyness Deyn, her happy expression or the context. I used 2 ideologies: Confidence
Natural Beauty
I Used these ideologies so that there where different ways in persuading people to buy the product. Confidence is seen as a positive, someone 'brightens up the room' with there confidence. And Her position is very confident and strong, as she is posing to the camera. The audience may want to buy this product because of Agyness Deyn, her happy expression or the context. Natuaral Beauty i used, because people always long to be naturally beautiful in there own skin.

G321 Kill Bill Voume 2

Director: Quentin Tarentino
Year Made: 2004
Country Of Origin: USA

Anaylsis of mise en scene:

There is a specific scene in Kill Bill Volume 2 Where the bride has been drugged, beaten and placed into a coffin. The coffin is very powerful in the scene; it is an utilisation of the thriller genre and is used to heighten the sense of death and claustrophobia. This is an important thriller scene as it shows generic signifiers of thrillers which will help us in our planning. As the last nail is being hammered in, there are beams of light from one side of the coffin's corner. The Bride has no space at all to move, and her body descends into pitch black, whilst there is light reflecting on her sweaty muggy face. The lighting is Noir, like many classic 1940's Thrillers, and is also chiaroscuro which provokes the fear and doom that she can't escape. It almost reminds us of a nightmare and seems not quite real. The certain part in this film makes us feel tension and fear.
As Uma Therman plays the lead femme fatal role and is being buried, I have always felt on her side and that she is starting to take control. Here she is isolated in a confined claustrophobic space, in unglamorous location (Graveyard).
The sound in mostly both diegetic, and non diegetic. In the mise en scene we hear the sound of the nails, being battered in the wooden coffin, and the sound of the mud being shovelled as well. These both could be generic signifiers because they provoke fear and death within the situation, which makes us wonder if this is the end for her. Another diegetic sounds is her constant heavy panicking. The non-diegetic sounds are editing over the top of the scene. These are the soundtrack played which emphasises fear, as this is a cross reference to 'The Good The Bad And The Ugly'. In this Thriller film, music at the end is played by Morricon. From this we no that there is a downfall for the unfortunate certain characters in this film, which may even multiply the fear for us as we hear the music in Kill Bill 2. Also there is no dialogue in this scene and the music and actions tell the details itself. The intertextual references are the music from 'The Good The Bad And The Ugly' and also the location. The location of that certain scene with the music is also set in a graveyard. Quentin Tarentino may have done this to remind us of the film and what happened to the characters, which may lead to climax of the bride’s death. As we know she does not die, he might have done this purposely so that we sit on the edge of our seats and feel sympathy for her. This even may make her more of a powerful femme fatal role.
The props in this scene are very generic. A rope is used to tie the bride’s hands and feet together, this was holding her back, and she used a knife to free herself from them. These both emphasise the imprisonment and fear. There is also a torch used, which is effective as it makes it more supernatural and gives shadowing for the thriller genre. There is no make-up visible and the costume is darkening due to the lighting. The camera angle is very close up. I think this scene is very interesting in how the director used his knowledge in other thrillers, and this has helped us into our study of thrillers.

G321 Essex Boys

Director: Terry Winsor
Year Made: 2000
Country Of Origin: UK

I watched the introduction to Essex boys (2000) directed by Terry Winsor, to carry on my reseacrh to Thrilers and understanding them more.

Essex Boys, the opening shot immediately establishes this film as a thriller, Winsor utilises claustrophobia with the shot of the protagonist in a garage, whilst also using chiaroscuro lighting - claustrophobia and chairoscuro lighting are key elements of the thriller genre. We straight away are taken to a shot of a car in a garage, which shows a confined unglamoruous space and is very chaustrophobic. We hear the sound of diegetic footsteps behind the garag wall. This creates tension and we fear what is going to happen next. Thus an atmosphere of entrapment (Jimmy is getting himself into a hopeless situation driving for the gangser Jason and nightmare is communicated in the opening moments of the film . We shortly after hear a voice over (Non-diegetic) of a young essex boy, and see him breaking into a car. There is no diegetic dialogue, only the voice over and the sound of the engine starting. There is a shot of the car front window, and suddenly the window wipers clean the window, to reveal a man standing there. The boy drives of through motoways, and goes through a tunnel from the boys point of view. The tunnel is a very confined space and shows us this is a thriller and signifies tension. When Jimmy is driving through the Dartford tunnel the point of view shot suggests the barrel of a gun thus reinforcing the genre whilst anticipating violence. As the boy is driving we see the lighting on the car window, turn to prison bars ( the light reflecting in the mirror-shadows, showing silhouettes of bars), which suggets this boy is on the road to jail. Later on we see an aynonomous white van, which is usualy used as a convention of thriller. The opening of this film i think is really good and shows many simple shots without much diegetic sound, but with diakogue over the top. This into i give 8/10.

G321 Psycho

Director: Alfred Hitchcock
Year Made: 1960
Country Of Origin: USA

I watched Alfred Hitchcock's Psycho to help out with research on thrillers and for my own ideas on making one. This film is a tribute to classic 1940's Noir thrillers and sound is a very dominant feature creating suspense and tension. The main character is Marion Crane, a dominant femme fatal and was filmed in black and white to add to the unglamorous and nightmare locations. The opening scene is very classic and is almost a voyeuristic experience. The camera pan's into a window (like a peeping tom) and shows us a secretive relationship between two lovers (Marion Crane of them). This window signifies the secretiveness of them, and is seen as an unglamorous cheap location. Later on we find out that Marion is a secretary. This shows us the status of women at this periodic time, and also reminds us how she wants a commitment with this man who’s having an affair with her, but he obviously doesn't. This signifies that she may be feeling lower then him, and this could be important to what is going to happen in the film and what Marion is going to do.

Marion is asked to take some money from an important client to the bank, we se her deciding to take the money and run away from everything she's leaving behind. There is one very effective scene in this film, where the sound and images reveal all. She is packing her belongings and this is where she has changed form black to white underwear, showing seduction. Whilst she does this, non- digetic music plays over the top.

The opening shot of Kill Bill 2 is an exact replica (intertextual reference) of this. Where Marion is escaping with the money, she is driving out of Arizona. In Kill Bill there is an exact shot like this, where the bride is in the car and looking directly at us. Also this opening scene of Kill Bill is shot in Black and White, so remind the audience of Psycho and the upcoming events to warn them. When Marion is in the car there are many thriller references. The colour of Black And white is typical and the non-diegetic music playing, which acted like her heart beat, gradually getting faster, increasing fear.

Another Thriller reference is when Marion looks through her car mirror window, she is being followed by a policeman and behind her in the mirror she sees the car. This provokes more fear as she is trying to hide but is being chased. This is a cross reference to Jewel, where this scene is featured, showing a generic signifier.

Camera angles are very important in this film and is sometimes all the information that the audience needs. Marion is in a toilet outside a car lot, she wants to buy a new car, to change her identity. The toilet is a generic signifier because it’s unglamorous and a confined space. There is a close up of Marion’s hands clutching them money, and then we see her reflection in the mirror. This may show a double personality of Marion when she with the money, and we see this later on when she uses a different cover name.

Marion finally gets away, and comes across a motel. She gives a man (hotel worker) Norman Bates a fake name and hesitates choosing a room number. This shows she is paranoid and vulnerable to what she has been doing. There is no dialogue in the next scene, she is trying to hide her money in a appropriate place and non diegetic music plays whilst Marion’s decides.

In Psycho music and soundtrack is always played when we build to climaxes. When we meet Norman bates we straight away can't tell what sort of person he is, and it all seems mysterious along with the unglamorous location. Later on, we watch them having a conversation whilst eating supper. There is a shot where Norman, is made to look like he has Wings in the shot, by shadowing of objects around him. The room they are in is filled with stuffed birds, and the significance of the birds show death and paralised freedom (captured). We see birds as very delicate and fragile which also reminds the audience of how vulnerable Marion is and how she could be seen as 'bird like'. Marion's second name is Crane. This is significant because 'Crane' is a type of bird, and as the room is filled with uncomfortable stuffed birds, the audience start to panic in what is going to happen. This all anticipates Marion's fate, which could end to death like the birds. Norman later on is used to provoke irony, he says "You eat like a bird", this not only shows how weird Norman is, but how we fear for Marion. Another generic signifier at this point is Norman. His second name is Bates. This shows how he is luring 'Crane' into his game like a bird, he is using 'Bate' she is his prey. Norman shows signs of madness. There conversation topic was evolved around Love, death and Sanity stating he was once mad and also emphasises on the word 'Grave'!

The lighting in the film is mostly Non Ambient. The camera angles are always significant in Psycho, we always see Norman in high perspective shot form a low angle. This shows he is superior and in control compared to Marion seen in a low perspective shot from a high angle showing she is the victim.

Marion emphasises his voyeuristic nature, he is very sinister and is 'watching his prey'. We see him looking through a hole in the wall, which the camera zooms through revealing Marion's bathroom. This makes the audience feel they are there, also watching. This is also like the opening shot to psycho, looking through on someone/something. We see someone entering a shower, from the bottom half of there body, showing they are vulnerable in a very confined space, with a shower curtain for there barrier which shows a generic signifier. Then the camera is at a high angle shot, and we can see someone entering through the door, not revealing there identity. The only sound playing at this point is the diegetic sound of the shower, sounds similar to rain, which was the weather outside earlier on. She is stabbed by an anonymous person, and as she dies she cling to the shower curtain pulling it down with her, we see a shoot of her from a high angle showing she is not in control at all. This turns into the shower almost washing her sins (blood) away into the plug hole which is very significant as the plug hole is shot slowly rotating and turns into Marion’s eye. Then we see the camera shot up and out towards the money and then to the house.

After this, Norman notices one of his picture frames of a bird has fallen from the wall, this shows she is dead. And the bird has finally fallen to its downfall. Once this has happened we see Norman rush into the crime scene and reacts like he is very shocked by her death. This shower sequence is a main generic feature of a thriller and is very popular. Norman wraps her in the shower curtain, which was once her barrier and is now her body bag. Norman starts cleaning frantically and looks like he knows what he is doing and has done this before. he places Marion's body into a car boot, with is again very enclosed and confined. This is a cross reference too Jackie B. Jackie Brown features a scene of a person being killed in a car boot. Then we see Norman driving a car downhill into a swamp, and we here the diegetic noise of the bubbles rippling to the surface.

These are just important parts I believe signify that this is an effective thriller and show different references Hitchcock has wants us to see. I believe this film has helped me with my studying of thrillers, to understand what they are and features of them. I really enjoyed this film and would give a 10/10.

G321 Plot Of Thriller

The plot of our Thriller is about a Man named Norman Quiero (father) In Turkey, he is business partners with a man called Mr Suri. Norman mysteriously dies, and there is a suspicion that Mr Suri killed him. Monika Quiero is the main character of our thriller, she is the daughter Of Norman and her and her mother fled to England and took 70% from Mr Suri’s business money.
Mr Suri passes away ten years later and his only son Ali, determines to get his father's money back. Monkia captures many of Ali's bate (Drug Mules). This brings us to the opening scene. There is a man held hostage in a building crate, Monika has hired two men to kill him and scare Ali of. The man is one of Ali's drug Mules and he has used him for bate but Monkia found out.

Shot 1: Dark Black room, we hear heavy breaking and panicking from one of Ali's workers in a crate. A Slit of light emerges on the face, revealing him sitting alone. Mid shot, so we don't reveal his identity just yet. A song starts playing in this scene: Portishead- Wandering star.

Shot 2: Monika Quiero (Femme Fatale) pacing slowly on gravel path, towards the crate. The shot shows her shoes, patent red, and shows bottom half of legs. Close up. Whilst she is walking we hear the crunching of gravel, and the song still playing.

Shot 3: From Ali's Perspective. We see the door opening and a sudden shadow on the floor revealing Monika's identity. Medium shot.

Shot 4: Extreme close up, of Monika's seducing lips, whilst she blows out smoke.

Shot 5: Extreme close up of the hostage’s eyes, provoking the fear and panic he is feeling. You can hear him mumbling language, almost praying.

Shot 6: To heavy men appear to be dragging the man away, outside of the crate. Medium Shot.

Shot 7: From Our perspective: Long shot looking through the door, then pans into a puddle, the reflection shows us the man being killed. Sound of violent fighting and screams for help.

Shot 8: Medium shot of Monika walking over the body.

Shot 9: Close up of Monika dropping her cigarette into the red pool of blood.

Shot 10: Close up of Monika gazing into car mirror, seeing the body on the ground.

For our planning of our thrillwe I was influenced by:
Kill Bill
Essex Boys
CSI
Jackie Brown

Theses all include feautures of thrillers, our idea of the crate came from these. The femme fatal character came fform Kill Bill and Jackie Brown.

Hello! My name is Hannah and im studying media at cns school, and I am carrying out this blog for text research and audience research for my coursework on thrillers. This will be used as my step to step diary on making a thriller for my coursework also. You can check out some work I've been doing so far. Enjoy!

Questionaire Essay

Hannah Ustel Year 12.
My name is Hannah and I have recently finished my GCSE's at The Hewett School. My Grades are the following:A- English Literature B- English LanguageB- RS B- GeographyMerit- IT C- SpanishC- Maths D- Music. My Hobbies are generally spending time with my friends, socialising, going to parties!, listening to music, shopping, going to the cinema. And I’m starting to have a craze for perking. The Print Media that I am interested in are media reviews, TV ( Drama's Times), Horoscopes and Art and photography/fashion. I don't usually read newspapers, the magazines I normally read are ELLE, I-D, Good articles, interviews and fashion magazines. The radio stations I listen to are Radio One on a regular basis and Kiss sometimes. I really enjoy music. My favourite genres include; Indie, Rock, R+B, Anything and absolutely everything. I believe the music industry can alter and influence people's dress sense, attitude and aspirations in many ways. Obviously one is from the way there 'idol' dresses, if this is the person you admire you will try as hard as you can to look like them and want to relate to them much easier. There looking for the 'You look like beyonce!' effect. This especially happens with young teenagers. There's always that special someone who has an influence on how they talk, dress, etc. because there famous and its like 'OMG' to them.I really hate videogames with a passion, unless you don't count the wii as one. Because the wii is so much more social everyone joins in and it doesn’t seem like a video game. The fact that you some people sit down playing these for hours on end in 'free' time, slowly getting arthritis and the shape of square eyes, to actually getting the thrill out of killing people. I think its so pathetic. I think the video industry is targeted on making games with violence, and street crime and sell which goes to the young kids who play these and learn 'moves and tricks'.At the moment I don't have access to the internet, but I use it quite a lot from researching information, to using sites like bebo and my space, which really drive me insane at the moment.New technology has increased our ability to research absolutely anything about anyone, any place and anything. That feeling to me is quite creepy, there is so much information available to people on the internet to use however which I feel is not right. we have the ability to talk/phone someone living the entire different side of the globe which wouldn't have happened years back. Technology has become really overpowering. In about 60 years time my mum believes that we won't leave our houses, life will evolve around the computer. We will be educated, we can shop online, talk to our friends, etc all on the internet. We won't leave our houses as the internet has everything we possibly need and I also agree with that. Media texts like books, newspapers and poetry I think will be forgotten. My favourite television channels are the MTV!/E!/ Channel Four/ Film Four/ Living etc because they all follow a genre as you can probably see. I love trashy teen drama programmes or modelling shows and stuff because I find it really funny and interesting to watch. My favourite TV genre is reality but I also love to watch documentaries as it shocks you and sometimes make you appreciate life more.A television advertisement which strikes me as humorous is the orange mobile adverts. I know there usually on at the cinema but they are so hilarious to me. The way they just humiliate and throw jokes at them, just is really funny. I watch a fair amount of television but a programme that I have personally found memorable is Poppy Shakespeare. It was a two part drama focused on a lady who was sent to a mental institute. It showed how she struggled to cope and the break down procedure of her slowly turning insane. The plot turned out that she wasn't actually mentally unstable to begin with I the first place and the environment people she was in made her. She was put in as an experiment to see what happened. I sympathised towards the character as she had a young child and it was really sad to watch.Other memorable programmes have been: Super size Me, One Tree Hill, E! entertainment: Heath Ledger and The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off.I Love films, all genres and never get bored of the cinema. Some of my favourites have been: Ten Things I Hate About You, The Dark Knight, Knocked Up, Kill Bill, Donnie Dark, Now And Then and Atonement. Most of the films I enjoy have Heath Ledger in, I am a bit obsessed with him, in a good way. I admire all his work and I think he is such a talented actor. His best work will always have been Broke Back Mountain. I watch most films in the cinema, but buy DVD’s quite a lot. The cinema I attend is mostly ODEON because it is very near to me and the arm's go up! and VUE as it is based in the city. I ALWAYS go to the cinema with my friends and family, and wouldn't ever want to go alone. In conclusion to this the media medium that has most offended me is the fashion industry. What a joy it would feel like to look perfect in our eyes, the fashion industry has developed into a bulimic, self conscious industry. I bet half the girls on each cat walk/show have done something to make there image better and feel like absolute crap when being told hat they look like, because the industry is so critical on how your 'supposed' to look. Clothes were supposed to make people feel better and look good, but now whenever I walk into a shop I feel fat for buying a 12 and I know I shouldn't. when I see the clothes sizes like size 6 it drives me insane that people would want to look like that and will sell them that small. I was in Abercrombie and Fitch and there were a pair of jeans marked size '0', I was actually tempted to try them on. it's not the fact that I hate fashion full stop, I love reading and watching stiff on it but that’s the part that aggravates me that you wouldn't see a stubby plus size girl on a catwalk on fashion week, which is pretty sad. Also another media which I have a problem with is the Caleb gossip. Just leave them alone, the reason these celebrities have problems is probably cause you have nothing better to write than 'Brittany’s gained 3 pounds and a alcoholic addiction' leave them alone!I'm not sure what the most interesting piece of media I have ever seen or heard is. But there’s a scene in a film called 'Ten things I Hate About You' and I know it off by heart ( even the whole film) and just talking about it brought my friend tears. The film is based on Shakespeare 'The Taming Of The Shrew' and it is my favourite film ever. Threes a scene where a teenage girl reads our her poem to the class, the person who it is about is listening to it.. and she says at the end "but most of all I hate the fact that I don't hate you, not even a little bit, not even at all". The way she says it as she’s nearly breaking into tears really is so effective.'This Is England' has really altered my attitudes to how different England itself has changed from the 1970's/80's when back then it was prejudice and racism. it was almost a documentary from the past and it really moved me, because I really didn't no it was that bad back then. I think nothing should ever be that bad ever and really hated watching that film but at the same time thought it was really good.I have chosen media studies as an option because I enjoy all the aspects of media. I'm interested in audio/print/advertisement etc. and when I am older I want to purse a career in this field. If I had to construct a media text, the medium would be print. Like an magazine advert or bill board or picture for example. I’m not sure would my message would be but, I think any message can be interpreted through print and still have the same message. That means the audience can have there own idea and relate themselves.
